    DropBall Level

    The DropBall Level is a classification system created to match players of similar skill level so as to ensure balanced and engaging matches. The level is determined based on factors such as match history, feedback from other players, and the user's self-assessment. All these elements help create fair matches and improve the overall game experience. The level system is continuously developed and refined by DropBall.

    Scenarios for Changing the DropBall Level

    Users may submit a request to change their DropBall Level in the following cases:

    Initial Level Adjustment

    • When a new user sets their initial level using the starting questionnaire, they may adjust it by ±0.5 points.
    • The initial level cannot be lower than 0.5 or higher than 6.5.

    Self-Initiated Level Decrease

    • Users may lower their own level if they consider it to be overestimated.
    • This may be done without restrictions, and there is currently no waiting period between such decreases.
    • A user cannot reverse their own level decrease or ask DropBall to do so on their behalf.

    Updates Based on Player Feedback

    • Users may be prompted to update their level based on feedback from other players received after matches.
    • This helps ensure that the level reflects the user's actual playing skills.

    Coach-Confirmed Adjustment

    • A certified coach may change a user's level based on their assessment during a dedicated session.
    • Such a change may raise or lower the level and is not subject to appeal by the user.

    Level Change Policy

    • DropBall does not change a user's level outside the scenarios described above.
    • Requests to change the level by other means will not be considered.

    Level Change After Matches

    After each booking or competitive match, the level of users may change depending on the confirmed result:

    • A win raises the level of the winner.
    • A loss lowers the level of the player who lost.
    • A draw may also affect the level, depending on the levels of the players involved.

    The size of the level change is determined by an algorithm that takes into account:

    • the level of the users;
    • the reliability of the users;
    • the final result of the match.

    These mechanisms are designed so that the level of each user reflects their playing capabilities as accurately as possible, improving the overall game experience for everyone.

    Score Changes

    Users may add the result of a match immediately after the match or booking is completed, within 24 hours. All participants may confirm this result or propose a different one. The process continues until both teams confirm the result, or until 24 hours pass without any editing or confirmation by either team. If the opposing team has neither confirmed nor changed the result within 24 hours, the result is automatically confirmed.

    Validity of Results

    For a result to be considered valid, it must be added using the scoring system that corresponds to the specific sport practiced during the booking or match.

    An invalid result is treated as a null result.

    Results are recognised as valid only if all four players who participated in the match are listed. This is important because last-minute substitutions sometimes occur and results are added without updating the participant list.

    Any changes to the line-up of players must be managed by the club and cannot be made after the match has ended.

    Editing Confirmed Results

    Once results have been confirmed, users cannot edit them in the application.

    To request a change, users must contact customer support through the relevant communication channels.

    The support team will confirm in the match chat that both teams agree to the changes before processing the request.

    Handling Unconfirmed Results

    Results that have not been confirmed by the opposing team cannot be confirmed by DropBall, except in cases where 24 hours have passed since the previous result was added.

    If the opposing team attempts to confirm an incorrect result, users may only reject it and submit the correct result.

    Result Disputes

    In cases where players cannot reach an agreement on the results after going through the established confirmation procedure, DropBall reserves the right to void the result.

    These procedures ensure the accurate recording of match results and their agreement by both teams, maintaining fairness and the integrity of the game.

    Rule Violations by Users and Community Guidelines

    DropBall is not responsible for any wrongful actions of other users that occur before, during, or after a booking or match made through our system. This includes any inappropriate, disruptive, or unsporting behaviour by users. DropBall encourages fair play and mutual respect among all users.

    Preventive Measures

    DropBall implements user verification processes and maintains clear community guidelines to minimise the risks of misconduct. All users are required to agree to these guidelines when creating an account.

    Community Guidelines

    Respect for All Users

    • Treat all players, coaches, and staff with respect, regardless of skill level, age, gender, race, or background.
    • Use appropriate language and avoid offensive, discriminatory, or hateful expressions.

    Fair Play

    • Play fairly and openly. Cheating or deliberate manipulation of results is strictly prohibited.
    • Respect the rules of the sport and the decisions of referees or officials.

    Punctuality and Reliability

    • Arrive on time for bookings, classes, and matches.

    Proper Use of Facilities

    • Treat the infrastructure and equipment of clubs with care.
    • Follow the club's rules regarding clothing, use of equipment, and access to facilities.

    Safety First

    • Immediately inform club staff of any unsafe conditions or equipment problems.
    • Avoid any behaviour that may pose a risk to yourself or others.

    Appropriate Communication

    • Maintain communication in the application or on club premises in a polite manner and within sport-related topics.
    • It is prohibited to use DropBall to harass, threaten, or inappropriately contact other users.

    Privacy and Consent

    • Respect the privacy of others. Do not share other users' personal data without their consent.
    • Obtain permission before taking or sharing photos/videos with other players.

    Truthful Information

    • Provide accurate information about your skill level and playing experience.
    • Impersonating another person or creating multiple accounts is prohibited.

    Dispute Resolution

    • Try to resolve conflicts peacefully and professionally.
    • Report problems through the relevant channels (club administration, DropBall support), rather than through public arguments.

    Compliance with Local Legislation

    • Comply with all local laws and regulations when using DropBall services or visiting clubs.

    Safety Tips for Users

    • Meet new players only in public, well-lit places.
    • Inform friends or family of your plans when meeting new people.
    • Trust your own instincts — if a situation feels uncomfortable, do not hesitate to leave.
    • Keep personal data confidential until you feel comfortable sharing it.
    • Immediately report suspicious behaviour to both the club and DropBall.

    Support and Limitation of Liability

    Although DropBall strives to provide the maximum support through its customer service channels, certain limitations exist:

    • Receiving complaints: We encourage users to report any incidents. This helps us keep records and respond to recurring issues.
    • Providing recommendations: Our team can advise on how to act in specific situations and recommend appropriate steps or contacts.
    • Facilitating communication: We can help facilitate interaction between users and club administration to resolve disputes.

    Consequences of Misconduct

    Users who violate the guidelines may face sanctions, including temporary or permanent suspension from the DropBall platform. The level of sanctions depends on the nature and frequency of the violations.

    Confidentiality

    DropBall guarantees that all reports of violations will be handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable legislation on the protection of personal data.

    Incident Review Process

    In the event of misconduct, we recommend first contacting the club where the incident occurred with a detailed description of the situation. For a full review of the case, DropBall may contact the club. If it is established that the user's behaviour violates the community guidelines, sanctions may be applied to them, including suspension of access to DropBall.

    Obligations of Clubs

    Clubs are required to inform DropBall of any cases of misconduct and to assist in determining the responsibility of all parties involved.

    DropBall makes every effort to take balanced decisions and to maintain a safe and healthy community. In cases of serious violations, we recommend that users contact local law enforcement authorities. DropBall will provide whatever support is possible to minimise negative consequences for users.

    Court Conditions

    DropBall is not responsible for any issues related to the condition of the court at which a booking or match takes place. This includes maintenance, quality, or safety issues of the sports facility.

    Although we strive to support users through customer service channels, please note the following:

    • Reporting issues. All matters related to the condition of the court must be addressed by users directly with the club or sports facility administration.
    • Limitations of support. DropBall has no direct control over the maintenance or safety of the courts. The resolution of such issues is the sole responsibility of the club.
    • Accuracy of information. Only the club is responsible for the information posted on the DropBall platform. If a user identifies any inaccuracies, they must submit a complaint and seek redress directly from the club, and not from DropBall. This applies in particular, but is not limited, to: photographs, logos, court characteristics, contact details, location, list of amenities, opening hours, and any other descriptive information provided by the club.
    • Booking verification. Users are advised to verify booking details directly with the club before arrival, especially for important matches or events.
    • Weather conditions. DropBall is not responsible for the cancellation of matches or for the condition of courts due to weather conditions. Users should familiarise themselves with the club's weather policy and contact the club directly.
    • Equipment. Users are required to bring their own equipment unless otherwise expressly stated by the club. DropBall is not responsible for the availability or condition of equipment provided by the club.
    • Club rules. Each club may have its own rules regarding court use, cancellations, and refunds. Users are encouraged to review these rules when booking through DropBall.
    • Dispute resolution. In the event of disputes regarding the condition of the court or the accuracy of information, users must first attempt to resolve the issue with the club. DropBall may facilitate communication but is not responsible for the final outcome.

    These provisions are introduced to clearly delineate responsibility between DropBall, the clubs, and the users, with the aim of minimising misunderstandings and ensuring the proper resolution of any issues.

    No-Show for Public Matches

    The User acknowledges that, in the event of a no-show for a public match, DropBall applies the following procedure:

    Notification

    If a user does not show up for a public match, the other participants may report this to the club or to DropBall customer support via chat or email at help@dropball.app.

    Verification

    Customer support confirms the no-show by reviewing the relevant match chat or by contacting the club where the match took place directly.

    Refunds and Charges

    Once the no-show has been confirmed, DropBall will issue an appropriate refund to the users who were present at the match and will charge the user or users who failed to appear.

    Late Arrival to a Match

    If one of the players is late, the group has two options:

    Option A: Wait and Play

    • the match is considered to have been fully played;
    • no refund is issued;
    • the full booking fee applies;
    • adding the match result confirms that the match took place.

    Option B: Declare a No-Show

    • the group may declare the player a no-show;
    • the standard no-show rules and refund procedures apply;
    • the late player receives a no-show penalty;
    • if the match result is added, no-show is not applied and the full payment applies.

    This procedure ensures fair compensation for players who were present and the proper settlement of responsibility associated with no-show or late arrival.

    5. PURCHASE PROCESS FOR SERVICES

    Duly registered Users may purchase services through the DropBall website or mobile application using the established methods and forms. To make a purchase, the User must complete the following steps:

    • Choose the desired service (court bookings, public matches, group classes, private classes, courses, tournaments, or leagues) offered by the clubs through DropBall.
    • Review the details of the selected service.
    • Proceed to the checkout process.
    • Choose a convenient payment method from those offered by the relevant club.
    • Confirm and complete the payment.

    The User may change their selection at any stage before final confirmation of the order.

    Once the purchase has been completed, the User will receive an email confirming that DropBall has received the order or purchase request. This confirmation will also be available in the User's personal account in the mobile application.

    DropBall keeps records of communications, orders, and payments related to transactions on the website and the mobile application. These records serve as proof of the transactions carried out and are stored in accordance with applicable security standards and legislation. The rights of Users are protected in accordance with the DropBall Website and Application Privacy Policy.

    Users must be aware that, although DropBall provides the booking and payment process, the services themselves (court bookings, public matches, classes, courses, tournaments, or leagues) are provided by the clubs, which are third parties and operate separately from DropBall.

    6. PRICES AND PAYMENT

    The prices displayed on the Website are final and include taxes, unless otherwise provided by applicable law, in particular regarding VAT, where a different procedure applies. All prices are displayed in the national currency of Ukraine — the hryvnia (UAH).

    To ensure the proper functioning of the DropBall platform and to cover the costs of the products and services provided, including customer support, a service fee is charged upon confirmation of a booking, public match, or tournament registration. The amount of the service fee is clearly displayed during the payment process.

    This means that you, as a player, agree to pay all costs for the booking, including the relevant fees, such as the DropBall service fee (where applicable) and any other items indicated at checkout (collectively — the "Total Price").

    In some cases, the club may decide not to charge the player a service fee, taking the cost upon itself. In such a case, the service fee will be displayed as 0.

    In the event of cancellation of a booked activity, DropBall does not refund the service fee and applies a cancellation fee to cover the related costs:

    • the service fee is non-refundable if you cancel a booking;
    • the service fee is non-refundable if you cancel participation in a tournament;
    • the service fee is refundable if you leave a public match or if the match itself is cancelled.

    For public matches that are automatically cancelled due to insufficient number of players or unavailability of courts, the service fee is also refundable.

    Prices may change at any time; however, such changes do not affect orders or purchases for which the User has already received order confirmation.

    Available payment methods may differ depending on the club and may include: payment at the club, club wallet balance, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, credit and debit cards, and other payment methods.

    DropBall uses all necessary means to ensure the confidentiality and security of the payment data transmitted by the User during transactions through the Application. For this purpose, a secure SSL (Secure Socket Layer) payment system is used.

    Credit cards are subject to checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If payment is not authorised by the relevant institution, DropBall is not responsible for delays or absence of bookings and will not be able to enter into a contract with the User.

    For one-off bookings, public matches, and the purchase of any other services, funds are debited immediately.

    In any case, by clicking the "Pay" button, the User confirms that the payment method used belongs to them or that they are the legal owner of the chosen means of payment.

    7. CANCELLATIONS

    Where a User books a service through our website or mobile application, the following rights apply:

    Right of Cancellation

    Users have the right to cancel their bookings in accordance with the cancellation policy of the relevant club. To exercise the right of cancellation, the User must cancel the booking directly through our website or application, or by contacting the club directly (where applicable).

    Cancellation may be carried out entirely through our application or website, and there is no need to send any additional notice to DropBall.

    In the event of cancellation, DropBall will issue a refund. The refund period depends on the User's bank's terms and may vary. In some cases, DropBall may charge a cancellation fee to cover the related costs.

    It is important to note that, once the User has used a service purchased through our website or application, no cancellation may be requested.

    Each club determines its own cancellation policy, which can be reviewed during the booking process or after it has been made. By making a booking, the User accepts the cancellation policy of the relevant club and acknowledges that they cannot cancel the booking after the period defined by that policy has ended.

    If a booking has been made by mistake, within the period permitted by the cancellation policy, the User cannot edit or cancel it under any circumstances.

    Clubs may unilaterally cancel a booking without prior notice to the User. DropBall cannot intervene in such situations, except in cases of obvious unfairness.

    DropBall does not cancel bookings outside the terms of the club's cancellation policy, and no exceptions to this rule are envisaged. Users should not expect that the club will cancel a booking on their behalf if the cancellation request is submitted outside the established policy.

    The terms set by the club are final, and DropBall is required to comply with these rules, which means it is unable to process cancellations that do not comply with the established policy.

    The cancellation policy is designed to ensure fairness and minimise disruptions. Exceptions to this policy may be granted solely at the discretion of the club and, as a rule, only in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances.

    Important Note

    By making a booking through DropBall, Users are required to review and accept the cancellation policy of the relevant club. DropBall is not responsible for managing cancellations outside the club's policy or for issuing refunds that do not comply with the terms previously accepted by the Users.

    This system ensures the fair and effective operation of the clubs, reduces possible disruptions, and guarantees equal treatment for all related Users and clubs.

    8. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS AND NOTICES

    By using this Website or Application, the User agrees that most communications with DropBall will be carried out electronically (by email or by posting messages on the Website or in the Application).

    For contractual purposes, the User consents to the use of this electronic means of communication and confirms that all contracts, notices, information, and other communications that DropBall sends electronically comply with the legal requirements for written form. This condition does not affect the User's rights guaranteed by law.

    The User may send messages and/or communicate with DropBall through the Website or Application, as well as by email.

    Likewise, unless otherwise expressly provided, DropBall may contact the User and/or send notices to the email address, telephone number, or postal address provided by the User.

    9. WAIVER

    No waiver by DropBall of a particular right or legal action, nor any failure by DropBall to require strict performance by the User of any of their obligations, shall constitute a waiver of any other rights or actions arising under the contract or these Terms, nor shall it release the User from the performance of their obligations.

    Any waiver by DropBall of any of these Terms, or of rights or actions arising under the contract, shall take effect only if such waiver is expressly identified as a waiver, properly executed, and communicated to the User in writing.

    10. INVALIDITY

    If any of these Terms is held invalid by a final decision of a competent authority, the remaining provisions shall remain in force and shall not be affected by such finding of invalidity.

    11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

    These Terms, and any documents expressly referred to in them, constitute the entire agreement between the User and DropBall regarding the subject matter of the purchase and supersede any previous understandings, agreements, or promises given orally or in writing by the same parties.

    The User and DropBall confirm that they have agreed to enter into the contract without relying on any statements or promises by the other party, except for those expressly set out in these Terms.

    12. DATA PROTECTION

    Personal data that you provide to DropBall when carrying out transactions on the Website or Application, as well as throughout the period of your relationship with DropBall, are processed in accordance with the following documents:

    • Privacy Policy
    • Cookie Policy
    • General Terms of Use

    By accessing, viewing, and/or using the Website or Application, the User consents to the processing of the said information and personal data and confirms that all information or data provided by the User is accurate.

    13. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

    Access to, navigation, and/or use of this Website or Application, as well as contracts for the purchase of products through them, are governed by the laws of Ukraine.

    Any disputes, issues, or differences arising out of or in connection with access to, navigation, and/or use of the Website or Application, as well as the interpretation and performance of these Terms or purchase contracts between DropBall and the User, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ukraine.

    14. COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS

    The User may send their complaints, claims, or any other comments to DropBall through the Website or Application, as well as by email.

    To file formal complaints, Users are advised to contact the local consumer protection authority or service, which can provide advice and assistance in resolving the issue in accordance with applicable local legislation.

    In the event of a dispute related to the conclusion or performance of this contract between DropBall and the User, the User as a consumer has the right to apply for the out-of-court settlement of the dispute in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, in particular to the authorities responsible for consumer protection, or to use other legally provided means of protecting their rights.

    All actions you take, and all information you post on DropBall, remain your responsibility. In this regard, you agree to indemnify, defend, hold harmless, and protect DropBall, as well as our partners, licensors, affiliates, contractors, officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents, from any third-party claims, damages (direct and/or indirect), lawsuits, proceedings, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) which we have incurred or reasonably incur in connection with or as a result of:

    • any negligent acts, omissions, or wilful wrongful acts on your part;
    • your access to and use of the Application;
    • uploading or submitting Content to the Application by you;
    • any breach of these Terms by you; and/or your breach of any law or the rights of any third party.

    We reserve the exclusive right to settle, enter into settlement agreements, and make payments in respect of any claims or actions brought against us, without obtaining your prior consent. At our request, you undertake to cooperate fully and reasonably with us in the defence of the relevant claim.

    The above provision does not require you to indemnify any DropBall group company for unfair commercial practices on the part of such party, or for its fraud, deception, false promises, misrepresentation, or concealment, suppression, or omission of any material fact in connection with the Application.

    Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability

    By using DropBall to book facilities or participate in events, the User acknowledges and accepts that sports and related activities involve, by their nature, physical risks. DropBall is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damage caused to the User or their property during such activities.

    The User agrees to take part in such activities at their own risk and to take the necessary safety measures. DropBall disclaims any liability for such incidents, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. In addition, by using this platform, you release DropBall and its affiliates from any claims related to the said risks.

    15. UPDATES TO THE TERMS

    DropBall reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of any changes via the Website or Application. Continued use of DropBall services after such changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Users are encouraged to review these Terms regularly.

    16. AGE RESTRICTIONS

    To use DropBall services, the User must be 18 years of age and, accordingly, have full legal capacity to enter into contracts. Users between the ages of 13 and 18 may only use the service with the consent and under the supervision of parents or legal guardians. DropBall reserves the right to request proof of age at any time, without incurring any liability.

    17. FORCE MAJEURE

    DropBall shall not be liable for any failure or improper performance of its obligations if such failure is the result of circumstances of force majeure, including but not limited to: natural disasters (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural catastrophes), war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, insurrection, revolution, rebellion, usurpation of power, acts of terrorism, nationalisation, sanctions imposed by state authorities, blockades, embargoes, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, as well as interruptions or outages of electrical or telephone communications.

    18. SEVERABILITY

    If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, this shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of these Terms. Such provision shall be deemed to have been excluded, without prejudice to the remaining provisions.

    19. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY RESOURCES AND CONTENT

    The DropBall Website and Application may contain links to third-party websites or third-party services (including the websites or services of clubs) that are not owned or controlled by DropBall. DropBall does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of such third-party websites or services. Users access and use such resources at their own risk.

    20. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

    Users retain all their rights to any content they submit, post, or display on or through DropBall. By submitting, posting, or displaying content, the User grants DropBall a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content.

    Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users

    DropBall has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Objectionable content includes, but is not limited to: content that is offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, threatening, harassing, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate, as well as content that promotes illegal activities or infringes the rights of any person.

    Users who post objectionable content or engage in abusive behaviour towards other users, including in private messages, group chats, profiles, match descriptions, or any other communication feature within the Application, will face consequences ranging from content removal and account suspension to permanent ban from the platform, at DropBall's sole discretion and without prior notice.

    By creating an account and using the Application, the User explicitly agrees:

    • not to post, upload, transmit, or share any objectionable content;
    • not to harass, threaten, intimidate, abuse, or discriminate against other users;
    • not to impersonate any other person or entity, or create multiple accounts;
    • not to use the chat or any communication feature for unlawful purposes, spam, or commercial solicitation;
    • to use the Application in a manner consistent with the Community Guidelines set out in these Terms.

    Reporting and Blocking

    Every User has access to the following tools within the Application:

    • Report — Users may report any objectionable content, message, profile, or behaviour by tapping the relevant report option available on user profiles, chat messages, and match pages.
    • Block — Users may block any other User at any time. Blocked users cannot send messages, view the profile of the blocking User, or otherwise interact with them within the Application.

    Moderation Response Time

    DropBall reviews all reports of objectionable content and abusive behaviour within 24 hours of submission. Following review, DropBall will take appropriate action, which may include content removal, formal warning, temporary account suspension, or permanent account termination. The User who submitted the report will be notified of the outcome, where appropriate.

    DropBall reserves the right to take immediate action, including the removal of content and suspension of accounts, where there is a clear and immediate violation of these Terms, without awaiting a formal report.

    Users may manage their content and personal information through the account settings, including the option to delete their profile directly through the Website or Application. Users acknowledge that deletion of the profile results in the irreversible loss of all data associated with it.

    21. TERMINATION OF ACCESS

    DropBall may terminate or suspend access to the service immediately, without prior notice and without any liability, for any reason, in particular in the event of a User's breach of these Terms. Upon termination of access, the User's right to use the service ceases immediately.

    Users may terminate their account at any time by contacting DropBall customer support.

    22. LANGUAGE

    These Terms are drafted in English. Any translation is provided solely for the convenience of the Users. In the event of any discrepancies between the English version and the translated version, the English version shall prevail.
